Elijah is an incredibly interesting man. As the son of Iapetus he has a very dark side to him. He is cruel in some ways, but thats never seen until he has you in his trap. Elijah has something about him that makes you want to trust him, love him even, but while you are doing that, he is learning everything he can use against you. He can be manipulative, but its very subtle.He can not stand weakness in people or in himself, so if he finds you to be weak he won't waste his time with you. He wants badly to prove himself, and so as a spy in the Greek and Roman camp, he is hoping to find out their weaknesses and take the information back to his family in the Titan camp. Elijah is intelligent, and can not stand ignorance in others, though when it comes to his enemies, the more ignorance he sees in them, the happier he is. It makes his job much easier. He loves women, and has a soft spot for blondes, though Cosmos does not know he and Celestia had a brief whirlwind romance when the first arrived in the Sea of Monsters. It is because of her that he is now spying on the Greek and Romans and working his hardest not to get caught.

Twenty some odd years ago, Clarissa Jones was working in her families mortuary when a very intense man made his way into the place, asking her for her help. Clarissa was a very sweet girl, and was always willing to help anyone. She was eighteen at the time and easily swayed. She wasn't even sure what he wanted her to help with, but he apparantly had been watching her for awhile and asked her to join him for a walk through the cemetery that night after they talked for awhile and had some dinner, she had downed a whole bottle of wine, not realizing that he hadn't been drinking it as well. She was feeling very drunk towards the end of the night, but the two ended up sleeping together there in the cemetery that night.
He disappeared after that, and Clarissa found out shortly after that she was pregnant. At such a young age she was very upset and thought about not having the baby, but instead put him up for adoption the minute he was born. A well off couple from Salem had been on the waiting list for a baby boy for a long time, and they were happy to adopt him. They named him Elijah Jace Carstairs, after his "great grandfather". Things seemed to be ok for awhile, but as he grew older they noticed that Elijah was a very strange child. He was incredibly powerful also, picking up thing that a child of his age never should have been able to pick up. He also had the uncanny ability to heal quickly. Once he fell out of a tree and broke his arm, and the next thing they knew he was fine. It scared his adopted parents and they thought there was something extremely weird about their child.
They grew frightened of him but Elijah didn't even think anything of it. He was a happy strange little child. His parents ended up sending him off to boarding school and he tried to get along with the children there but he was a loner. That was except for the girls, he found he really liked being around them. Guys he felt the need to want to kick their butts all the time, so he spent a lot of time in his room away from them all, otherwise he would end up in the deans office a lot, having detention or other problems. He also accidnetly set fires from time to time, once setting the school Christmas tree on fire. He ended up being kicked out of a couple of schools because of "violent tendencies" and "pyromania" before graduating and it was then his parents decided he couldn't come back home. His mother was terrified of him. So, they set him up an account with plenty of money for him to get by, and he moved to New York. It was there, a couple of years later that he ran into Celestia as she and the Romans were passing through on their way to Camp Half Blood.
He was instantly drawn to the female, and it was when he went to sleep the first night after joining up with the group that he had a dream from his father, and found out who he truly was. He told Celestia about what he had learned, and she quickly asked him to join her in her quest. He fought at Camp Half Blood along with the others and then went on with the Titan children to the Sea of Monsters when everything was said and done. He and Celestia had a brief romance, hiding it from her brother so that he didn't find out and take it out on Elijah. POWERS & ABILITIES
PYROKINESIS: As a son of Iapetus, Elijah has a minor form of Pyrokinesis, he is able to manipulate fire and though he doesn't have much control of it, he uses it more than he should. He doesn't mean to use it sometimes, and has been known to set things on fire by accident. He is however, not fire proof and so he has burned himself a few times.
VITAKINESIS: Elijah can heal himself or others with just a touch. It is a gift from his father and he has used it many times in the past, especially at the Battle of Camp Half Blood. He can not bring anyone back from the dead with this power, but he can heal mortal wounds. He can only heal so many times a day, before it wears him down and he has to take a long nap in order to recharge.
As a son of a Titan he can also speak the old language of the Titans as well as being a natural healer from his father.
